Real Madrid Star To Miss Crucial UEFA Champions League Semi Final Clash Against Manchester City
Real Madrid are likely to be without a key man and Ballon D'Or winner as they look to make it successive finals in the UEFA Champions League.
Fresh off their quarter final triumph against Chelsea, the Spanish outfit were drawn to face English giants Manchester City, in what is set to be a repeat of the competition's semi-final last season.
Carlo Ancelotti's side came out victorious in that encounter en route to winning the competition -- however, the Italian manager and fans of the club alike will be tensed over the fitness of their star midfielder.
According to Relevo, Luka Modric will miss Los Blancos' games against Almeria and Real Sociedad as the Croatian is also a 'serious doubt' for the Copa Del Rey final against Osasuna and the Champions League first leg semi final against Manchester City.
The 37-year-old has been a standout performer in the middle of the park this season, starting seven out of eight Champions League games this season, scoring twice and providing one assist while also playing 28 LaLiga games, netting four times and assisting three.
