World Cup Winner Set To Snub Top English Clubs, Including Man United, In Favour Of Summer Move To Liverpool


Manchester United and Liverpool are two clubs who will be actively working in the summer transfer window to strengthen their respective squads.


The Man United manager, Erik ten Hag and Reds boss, Jurgen Klopp are, most especially, looking to add to their midfield options.


Alexis Mac Allister is one player who has caught the eye of many, since the 2022 FIFA World Cup which concluded in December.


Mac Allister played an integral part for Argentina, en route to the South American giants claiming the prestigious crown.


The Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder has also been putting in consistent performances in the Premier League, netting nine goals and recording an assist this season.


Following his excellent performance in the World Cup and consistency in the English top flight, the 24-year-old's father, who doubles as his agent, as continuously talked about an expected move to a top club in the summer.

The likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal were all put on alert in order to land his signature.


One team who has made concrete steps to acquiring his services is Liverpool.


The Reds pulled out of the race for Jude Bellingham due to the financial implications of the deal considered to be expensive.


However, the six-time European champions have been reported to have identified a number of alternative targets, such as, Moises Caicedo, Mason Mount, Matheus Nunes, Youri Tielemans and Mac Allister, also.


The Merseyside outfit have reportedly presented their project and future plans to Mac Allister as financial discussions are also set to continue.


Mac Allister is also said to be keen on the move to Anfield -- as another important step for Liverpool is to discuss the transfer fee.
