Ralf Rangnick: "I’m thinking of a player whose commitment to RB Leipzig I was at least a little involved in – Christopher Nkunku. For me, he's one of the best attacking midfielders currently available and who, in my opinion, decided to move to Chelsea far too early."
Ralf Rangnick: "Imagine he comes to a club that is in the state it is at the moment. Such an outstanding player. This hurts my heart personally. If I were his advisor or his father, I would be very worried right now."
Nkunku will be joining Chelsea this summer. He has already agreed a pre-contract deal with the Blues ahead of a move to the Premier League. The deal is reported to be worth over £50million..
Nkunku currently have 17 goals and 5 assists in 28 appearances for RB Leipzig this season. He also won the German Cup last season, as well as being named Bundesliga Player of the Season.
